haven't dashed for years. you can't see who tipped before you deliver? I only ask cause I would get the tipping person their food first

I always get frustrated if the freebie gets their order 1st. I believe the person who has tipped well should get their order 1st

I always feel bad for the customers that actually tipped because I’d rather just go drop their order off and usually the person who didn’t tip somehow always ends up getting their food, nice and hot and first all at the expense of the person who actually paid well

Whether you take it or not everything balances out at the end of that shift or at the end of the week or month... some tip higher, some don't tip...

3 orders stacked I got last night. It was going 7.9 miles for 10.65 that was the reason for accepting. was great $$ for the mileage. But it was kinda dissapointing to see two customers left nothing. You made a great point.

$10 in 30 minutes is my standard as long as I make $20 plus and hour I’m good but I don’t do anything $7 or less unless it’s taking me back in the direction of my home.

You’re completely right I have an example where I was supposed to pick up two Shepherd orders at the same restaurant. It was McDonald’s and it was going less than 3 miles total and I wasn’t right near the restaurant so I was about 3/4 of a mile away I get in there. I got the food first Customer is right across the street in the apartment complex. I had to go to the road connected to in order to get to the main gate and I did that found it delivered it and that Customer took me eight dollars and left me a really nice message so I made over $20 for less than 3 miles.

The real victim is the customer who did make a generous tip. They paid up to insure good service. Now they are most likely getting delayed and cold food cause DoorDash had to piggy back them

I agree 100! Its the whole order for me... i always know how didnt tip before the final screen, so ill swap tasks and deliver the tipper 1st but i dont unassign anymore... only get 5 per 100 orders to stay platinum in my area... After the delivery Thats when you block the no tipper so you never get their order AGAIN!! One no tipper at a time for me being eliminated from me delivering to ever again 🤔🤔🤣🤣

Honestly I wouldn’t say for free i think it’s just the feeling of knowing at the end that u just delivered this persons order to find out they didn’t contribute to the stacked order u took. I just feel bad for the tipper cuz they pretty much paid to get their food and the non tippers food delivered which isn’t fair cuz a lot of the times the tipper is the one that usually get their food last smh
