Vali Graham, Australian extreme athlete, attempted a 42.5 m (139 ft) freestyle dive from Minnehaha Falls in the Blue Mountains, trying for the highest freestyle dive record. He hit the water badly and was knocked unconscious. Injuries: fractured skull, spine/vertebrae, and sternum, plus a burst eardrum. He required surgery on his back and sternum. Tough ass SOB. After he was pulled from the water and regained consciousness, he walked more than a mile to his buddies car. A lot of it uphill. But he doesn't need a moment of silence give him the respect he deserves cause he deserves a DAAAMN!!!

This should be illegal. If people are getting tickets for not wearing helmets while on their motorcycles then what this person is doing should come with a much stiffer penalty **as a means of a deterrent**, motivated by love, for their well-being.

He destroyed his spine. Yeah he walked away. But he was in shock and in agony. Emergency back surgery. Broken ribs ruptured eardrum. Broken sternum. a plethora of other injuries, including internal bleeding. for what? a recorord?? he's young and he was so healthy. Now he'll have a lifetime of pain. any real friends would have stopped him from doing this.
