aaaaa I've been camping during the weekend, so I'm just catching up on everything, and OHHHHHH THIS IS SO CREEPY! this portrayal of Sauron is one of my favourites, this eerie vibe all around, the uncertainty of what he's going to do next, because he's already thinking three steps ahead of you, and you are quite literally hopeless. the grainy texture in that first frame makes it look like analogue horror on youtube, and that's so cool!!! ohhhhh the eyes!!! the black and white is everything to me, but the sudden contrast of red! it makes it even more creepy, because it's something different, it doesn't fit, it makes you focus on it, and it's his eyes! I love those shadowy flames. or fiery shadows. it looks so good in shades of grey and black! MMMMM love the red text! I can't imagine what it felt like to see him change in real time, go from these benevolent smiles and polite behaviour to suddenly the raw ambition and manipulation and power underneath! love the edit!!!
