@christopherthelawyer: As an employment lawyer, I know that workplace retaliation is one of the most common and most misunderstood issues in employment law. Strong employees get pushed out not because they underperform but because they make weak leaders uncomfortable. When the retaliation starts it is quiet, calculated, and it is illegal. If things changed the moment you spoke up that is not a coincidence. That is a legal problem for your employer. #ConstructiveDismissal #EmploymentLaw #EmploymentLawyer #legaladvice #retaliation @Achkar Law
That's me but the problem is most of us who are part time min wage can't afford an employment lawyer and companies know this.....

that's why I stopped pushing for my promotion even I became very good of what I do, it felt useless when I noticed everyone else got promoted even without the knowledge, I just go work and now I understand everything has to do with how you get along with your superiors, sad but true

What can a person do if they don’t want to quit or get laid off, but they are facing major stress because of unfair treatment and corporate gaslighting?

i am a 8 year top.employer one slower quarter my manager who openly talks about christianity put me on a pip. now i am thinking of asking for a seperation package. after i went to hr to know more about my employment. manager got upset and wrote a bullet point email of past issues (one sided) - as per time line - retaliation. i wanna proceed but dont know how. either i keep my job and refuse to participate in pip or i ask for a seperation package.
