I have been waxing at home for years now. It gets easier. I would suggest getting a post wax cooling gel, it feels so cold and will help with all the redness.

I think your wax was too cold. Also you have to apply a thick layer, and cover all of the area, if you do it partly, is going to hurt more. You can also use tweezers for the little hair that the wax didn't grab. Since is your first time doing it, it is really normal to bleed a little

When I was a teen I used to pluck them out… & they never grew back… 😅 so I never had to shave or wax them… ((my leg hairs too)) I tell my daughters to try it but one hair they cry 😂😂😂

After the wax is fully melted turn it on medium to let it thicken it helps so much more cause it’s not as hot but I’ve been doing my own for 3 years and it does get easier and I barely have to wax except every 3-4 months

Just helpful tips 😁 First strip go with the direction of hair (typically downward) and pull from opposite end (typically upward), then next strip is reversed and if need be do a cleanup strip either direction to get those stragglers. I haven’t don’t my pits bc nope 😆 but I heard they actually hurt more than the kitty 🐱, but also if you’re on your cycle, it does hurt more. Girl you braver than me for sure 👑

It gets less painful over time!! Also your wax looks to runny so you need to let it cool down a bit, you want big thicker strips done whole pit not sections! It’s easier that way and less time consuming! Pull down for one strip and pull up for second strip!

I feel like you should get them done at a place 2-3 times then the hair is finer and comes out easier then start doing it at home… you’re use to the sensation and the hair just kinda knows and the pain is minimal.
