“I wish I had curly hair” are you sure? 👀🚫 all jokes aside I LOVE having curly hair now and I genuinely wouldn’t change it but it can take so much work… the longer I leave between washing really increases the amount of knots in my hair and makes deranging quite difficult too. So I tend to wash my hair a bit more regularly to avoid this These days to try and make things easier I do the following: 1. Detangle with a deep conditioner and water to get knots out before shampooing, I’ve been doing this for years and it does speed up the process 2. Shampooing the hair after detangling means I can easily spread shampoo through the lengths (I only brush through if it’s monitoring and I’ve detangled already btw) 3. Using the bowl method to style is a newer method I’ve been trying here and there and really love it when I want to keep my hair soaking wet throughout the routine, this is the @curlyzia.xo bowl method 4.
