Hi, so in Nigeria Fufu and Pounded yam are two different things. Fufu is made from Fermented Cassava while Pounded Yam is literally made from Yams. Fufu ≠ Pounded Yam……..Maybe other African countries use them interchangeably but in Nigeria it’s different 🙂
