@tyler_therealtor: The Capitol Records building was the first circular office building in the world, and it looks so much like a stack of records, you’d think it was intentional, but it was actually a crazy coincidence that caused a lot of drama. Now, it’s one of the most recognizable buildings in the world, and a favorite spot for recording artists. 💿 Do you think the Capitol Records building should have been a rectangle or a circle? Let me know in the comments.👇 Looking for a home in Hollywood, or anywhere else in LA? WTF that never reminded me if a stack of records! Records are thin! With no space between the records when stacked

The coolest building. In 1989 The Bobs big boy(hamburger restaurant)was on top of the building creating premotion stunt for Mark and Brain. At KLOS radio. 🤘🏼

Too bad Capitol Records was an awful place to work! The best part was going to the top of that building to admire the 360 degree view of the city!

Great story! I have always wondered about how this iconic building was created. Fabulous to find out it was unintended for what I think most people (who remember LPs and 45s) thought was just a stunt by a record company. Is it a protected building? Truly would be a shame to lose it via a demo for more condos. Thanks Tyler!

Sir, I enjoy your work, however this building is not "circular." It's cylindrical. Apple Park is circular. Cheers.

I can't picture capitol records being a square rectangular building. I'm glad they went with the circular model. 👍
