silk is a material and satin is a type of weave! so silk can be made into satin, but there's also polyester satin, cotton satin etc

The tank and jeans look amazing on you! I thought the silk skirt was very lovely too but perhaps if it was a bit more fluted at the bottom it would look more “special”? With the same tank in white/cream and a cardigan, the silk skirt would work as a great corporate (but not crazy corporate, like a law firm) office outfit
