And also, the reason why I think stan is better because even though he is still overall, a shallow person. He's the fact that he made himself blind. In order to make it to where he could still stay with francine and enjoy his marriage with francine, instead of just straight up, leaving her when she stopped wearing makeup, like he could have been way scummier, with that than he was, but he wasn't, he made himself blind, acknowledging, how shallow he was. So he can make himself comfortable with something he could not make himself naturally comfortable with

Within their universes, Peter's a lot worse. Stan and Francine both realize they both kinda suck cuz she can't be with him if he's a provider anymore than he can be with her not lookin like our Franny and reconcile by the end of the episode. With Peter I think it was just one of those I said sorry jeez you still haven't forgotten about that yet situation

Peter and the only reason I say that is not only because of the fact that he said he physically hated his kids, but because Stan and Francine later admitted that they both married each other for selfish reasons Francine wanted someone to take care of her and stay in marry her because she looked pretty
