As a recent physics graduate, understand the concept, do the homework, realize you don’t understand the concept, read it, try to connect equations to the reading, then try the homework again. Once you get good at connecting the equations to the word problem then you will do good on the exams. The exam problems you will have never seen before, so don’t try to memorize problems. I have taken physics 1,2, electricity and mag 1, thermal physics 1, quantum mechanics 1, and classical mechanics 1. None of the exam problems I had ever seen before. You will stay up nights, but you will understand how to connect readings to math
