There was one of those in Lawrence Kansas in the 1980s when I was at University of Kansas. It was yellow, but the same general design. The owners seemed to use it as their regular car. It would sometimes be parked on the downhill side of Louisiana Street, between the two connections to Edgehill Road. I presume the owners were KU students, because that road was immediately adjacent to campus, and a good, free parking spot for people who could get there early enough.
