I believe your complaint is valid, but I think they should be given a little grace considering this is the very first FragCon. You can plan as much as possible, but sometimes you don’t know what works until you actually do it. Now they know what needs to be improved, and hopefully the next one will be even better.

Let me be clear, I spoke to her several times asking questions because I AM an actual live events producer. She could not answer even the simplest of questions. She’s not a live events producer. She’s done food truck pop ups. That is not the same thing. This was a CASH GRAB. Plain and simple.

I told everyone on so many posts this was going to happen. It’s a crappy event for low tier fragrances, dupes, and local small businesses trying to sell their startup products. It’s bottom feeding.

100% agree with the air circulation part. It was very very warm. And I actually left a bit earlier than I wanted to because I was getting a headache just from being in the heat and around so many fragrances.

I have to agree with you. I literally only smelled two booths because there were so many ppl and the booths were small and over crowded and unfortunately I did fly in for the event. I will go back tomorrow only because I really wanted to smell City Rhythms, but I’m totally confused at why I spent money to walk around and be unable to interact with the sellers!

Overcrowded, some vendors overcharging for dupes. Some booths not even big enough to walk in to smell the fragrances.

Yes I agree and wasn’t impressed… I also felt that many of the vendors were not friendly at all. Some very cold and not talkative. I expected a lot more from the event and not going back tomorrow.

As someone that used to do pop ups, events quite often unfortunately in today’s market most conventions will only profit the hosts; they have to oversell to recoup the expenses for vendors and venue. A lot of brands don’t even break even and if the WiFi is poor, crowded, etc. that creates chaos and guess who already got paid and who takes a hit if the consumers don’t return? 😳

Yea we were in there sweating. It was so stuffy and all the fragrances being sprayed, lines forever long just to smell something, and there was no WiFi so most people could’ve even sell their merchandise. I felt bad for them. Reminded me of my 20’s in a nightclub working my way through the crowd.

I fully agree!! I've had a better time going to neiman marcus smelling perfumes for free!!! Tomorrow is a no! Hot as HELL and unorganized, lines were ridiculous but get it together!!
