@herbalsouls: The folk method has its place because it comes from generations of traditional knowledge, but I believe scientific extraction methods take herbalism to another level. They allow us to understand the actual constituents we're trying to extract, their solubility, stability, and how different extraction conditions affect them. Instead of simply extracting the whole plant and hoping we're getting what we want, scientific methods let us be much more intentional and precise about what we're pulling from the plant and that can lead to more consistent, potent extracts. #herbalism
