@IAmButterflySue: Ladies. Listen to her. I should have left my husband the first time he called me a c*nt. We had planned to go out driving through subdivisions to check out construction because we would soon be building our own home and I wanted to get ideas. Well, he was driving and he turned the wrong way. I said “hey, I think you’re going the wrong way. We want to be going the other direction.” He looked at me and said “no, I’m sure it’s this way.” I KNEW he was wrong. This was back before GPS and you had to print maps from Mapquest. Anyhow, I shut my mouth and thought to myself “fine. Let him be wrong.” Sure enough after 20 minutes of driving the wrong direction, he blows up and starts screaming that we were going the wrong way and why didn’t I stop him. I told him I TRIED to say something and that made him madder. He gunned the engine and did a spin out into a parking lot and called me a stupid c*nt for letting him get lost. I’ll never forget it. The tears burned my eyes. My chest pounded and I was heartbroken. And scared. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY. I didn’t. I stayed. I’m still with him almost 40 years later. We have a home with doors and walls filled with holes from his rage through the years. Although he never hit me directly, the years of verbal and emotional abuse took a huge toll on me and it also affected my children greatly. I should have walked away the day he called me that name. Ladies please. If they show you their spots, believe it. They will

Got married August 11th last year, found out I was pregnant FIVE days later and his mask slipped. It was like he was a completely different person.
