@deep.conspiracy0: On September 3, 2023, 51-year-old Steven Edward Riley Jr. was in Minot, North Dakota, preparing to meet a lawyer about what he believed was a $30 million inheritance. He had also reportedly planned to leave his longtime girlfriend, Ina Thea Kenoyer, after about a decade together. But before he could complete the meeting, Steven suddenly became ill, complaining of stomach pain and later vomiting and losing the ability to walk. Kenoyer reportedly insisted that Steven was suffering from heat stroke and took him home instead of immediately seeking emergency treatment. He was eventually hospitalized and transferred to a hospital in Bismarck, where he died on September 5. An autopsy determined that he had died from ethyl*ne glyc*| pois*ning, the toxic ingredient found in antifreeze. Investigators searching the couple's home found a Windex bottle containing a green liquid suspected to be antifreeze, along with other containers that investigators believed had been used to hold the pois*n. Friends and family also told police that Kenoyer had previously talked about pois*ning Steven. The motive centered on the supposed inheritance. Steven believed he was about to receive approximately $30 million and reportedly planned to leave Kenoyer. She believed that, as his common-law wife, she would be entitled to part of the money. But investigators later determined the inheritance did not actually exist and was likely part of a scam. North Dakota also does not recognize common-law marriage. #fyp #truestory #polic #wealth
