You need to be making a complaint, the way they are treating you is awful.

Please phone your doctors and say you want it physically recorded that you have asked for this to be done after surgery and they have refused you care…

At this point I feel a complaint is completely appropriate. Follow GP complaint procedure first and then PALS

Dr here - I'm sorry this is happening and I was trying to think of the way to sort it.
Ideally (I know it's the weekend) you need to get in touch with your surgeons who should have organised the follow up - they can liaise with either your GP by phone or (what my lot do) is bring you back to our surgical SDEC (daily non urgent but needs to be sorted out quicker clinic). Usually in the same hospital.
For complaints, the GP has a practice manager who should be your first point of call. GMC complaint is for individuals, and also won't deal with the issue at hand (or at bum) right now
Also it may have been crossed wires - all the juniors rotated 10 days ago and they may not have known how to arrange follow up properly yet

They should get you into see your practice nurse at your GP surgery for dressing changes. The district nurse is for housebound patients, practice nurse for none housebound. you shouldn't have to go to hospital everyday.
