As someone who actually served on board the Lincoln and who has friends that are CURRENTLY serving on the Lincoln, I can tell you that a lot of the reporting about what’s been going on on board is absolutely true. Do not let the White House or the Pentagon tell you otherwise, those sailors are suffering. Thank you for helping spread the word about what’s going on out there.

I was on the Lincoln in 08-13 and did this same deployment twice. We had port calls and the conditions still sucked. They gave us a beer day when we reached 100 days at sea with no land to boost moral and it didn’t do shit. These poor guys are almost triple that, worse conditions, shit replenishments and the government is trying to call them liars. I 1000% believe all of these sailors.
