seems like more of an open faced sandwich kinda thing. Open face sandwiches are nice because they don't leave you feeling like you took a cheese grater to the roof of your mouth.

I grow green beans every year, but tried black beans this year because we eat so many. This was my first harvest today since they need to dry on the vine. Every time I opened a pod I thought "beans!"

I used to make something similar and I call it fake tuna salad. garbanzo beans and pinto beans in a blender (I microwave the beans I think they blend easier) little Dijon mustard good amount of mayo whichever kind. lemon juice seasonings however you like, MIX. you can leave it a little chunky you can make it super smooth however you prefer. I like to add finally chopped pickles after. Eat it warm or cold as a dip or as a spread. enjoy
