the birdtopian revolution, lasting four months from october 19XX to january 19XX+1, resulted in the overthrowing of the royal toodsworth family, the public execution of the king and queen, and the abolition of the toodybird declaration of 18XX, bringing an end to birdnar persecution in the region. scores of men, women, spetuments, and various other thingamajigs on both sides fought bravely, but ultimately the birdtopian rebellion movement prevailed, heralding a new era for birdnars across all documented realms. amongst the various skirmishes, battles, and brawls encompassed by the rebellion, historians largely agree that the siege of toodsworth bunker marked a turning point in the war: acting as the "mind" behind loyalist operations, the capturing of toodsworth bunker by the rebel forces left the remainder of the royal army stranded: without guidance, the rebels would go on to make quick work of the remaining loyalist forces, before eventually razing toodsworth castle. our good friend the munklet fought bravely that day— as one of the penetration experts under the rebellion's command, munklet was responsible for entering the bunker unnoticed and deactivating any security forces which could compromise the attack. for munklet's bravery, he was awarded the birdtopian medal of honor— the second highest designation given to birdtopian personnel behind the gilded french fry. but while birdtopian history will forever remember munklet as a hero, the restless spirits of the loyalists slain by his hand beg to differ. in a 2014 interview for MICE, munklet gave a first-hand account of his own experiences with these ghostly galumpers: "yeah, they like spill my drinks, drain my phone battery, create traffic jams on the highway to work... sometimes they fry my scalp, my hands, my feet... so yeah, yeah, it's not great. i'm not happy about it." while modern paranormal optics are heinously underdeveloped, and thus unable to capture any sort of REAL "haunting" of any form, we had one of our vfx artists, in collaboration with munklet via discord, create the following illustration of munklet's daily afterlife afflictions.
