The damn recycling! I ended up putting it in the neighbors’ bins, I never figured out where ours were. Madrid did a better job of picking it up daily than Sevilla.

Sunscreen literally ruins pools. The no sunscreen rule 🙌 because you can wear it outside the pool then use the outside shower before swimming.

That looks like a hurricane/cyclone proof lock to protect the door from blowing open. My in-laws lived on an island and had a category 5 proof house built. The locks were insane lol

I totally stayed in a place like this in Provence. I was so stupid to assume there would be AC because it had a pool, hot tub, washer and dryer - all the things. We bought a fan and left it there. No screens, had to leave windows open every night. My allergies came on strong and I got so sick.
