Everyone is complaining in the comments, but I see nothing wrong with this. I think everyone is so in a rush when they’re young and that’s why the majority end up in unhappy marriages and getting divorced and it’s unfortunate when kids are involved. He took the time to find who HE is as a person: likes, dislikes, routines, etc. He’s complete as a person before trying to find someone else. He’s secure with who he is. It should be two complete people coming together as one not people just getting together; that’s where insecurities, lack of communication, commitment issues, etc. come in. I wish more people took their time and saw it like this instead of rushing things and feeling like there’s a time clock on the “American Dream”.

I’m on the same boat. Got divorce cause I was working too much and the life I was providing was enough to keep her happy. Now I live for me. I travel to Italy, Japan or DR every year. I have moved up extremely quickly now and now I’m at the executive level. I collect nice watches, workout and enjoy traveling. I honestly don’t see myself ever compromising for someone socially if they will only make my life harder
