I’m in MA the entire situation is tragic. I think folks/women are mad bc he remarried so quickly. That’s kind of weird but not a crime. Even if he was seeing the new wife before the event still does not make him guilty. Kinda shitty, yes but he didn’t do it.

Let’s roll with your belief on the diligent and supportive husband. Assuming this is accurate, knowing what he knew about his wife’s mental state, along with the medical malpractice happening right in front of him - a reasonable and invested human does not need a phd to realize you take those kids and go until she gets help. This is why he comes across as suspicious to people watching. He knows he chose to not protect those children, and for whatever reason, now he’s fabricating details. I don’t believe he’s doing this for the same reason the conspiracists do, but he’s doing it and it’s a terrible look

Genuine question- Does the prosecution/defense have to disclose what questions they are asking their expert witnesses? Or just the basic information? From what I’ve seen the prosecution is making the MA look like it’s the special needs child of the U.S and the amount of “I don’t knows/I can’t recalls from expert witnesses is insane. Plus the whole investigation is what Patrick claimed happened. In order to secure a win in the civil cases Patrick has no option but to testify and do everything he can to make sure it comes back as Not guilty by insanity because again it’s his what he claimed happened. If hypothetically, some bombshell happened with a witness & it’s enough to cause reasonable doubt she didn’t do it at all & that it’s plausible Patrick did do it (allegedly) and it comes to a mistrial/acquittal. Then couldn’t the Commonwealth use any and all testimonies including Patrick’s against him in a different trial?
