everyone complaining about their guy friend falling in love with them, but i was the one that fell in love. stop criminalizing falling in love, guys. yeah, it ruins friendships but it’s not like anyone can control who they fall in love with. “then just don’t act on it” okay but do y’all even think about the ache of trying to just be friends with someone who you want to spend every day of your life with? it HURTS. the fear of regret is all consuming. it’s genuinely either live with all-consuming pain every day and lie to your best friend, take the risk and tell them how you feel, or just leave forever. i’m so damn tired of people acting like they are a victim because someone loves them. like holy shit! someone cared! deeply! and suffered everyday, until they HAD to do something about it. yeah, it sucks to lose a friend, but it’s worse waking up every day full of love that has nowhere to go.
