I use my PS3 for ripping my CD’s and then transfer them to usb onto my computer cause I don’t have a portable blu ray/ dvd/ CD player yet.

I've been doing that for years. The only thing you need is a PC or MAC and a DVD player (built in or external). Saves me a lot of money and the sound quality is way better than Spotify who only offers lossless in theory.
