Chain will always stretch especially when it’s new. Not sure how much oil will reduce that. All chainsaws have a chain tensioner. I own 80 acres of thick woods and have two chainsaws. Not a bad saw for cutting shooting lanes.

This thing is fustrating the 8 inch keeps getting loose and it’s a pain in the ass to tighten , I’m at the point where I’m trying to tighten it but it no longer tightens , and yes I put oil in the resvoir
