Unfortunately was too stubborn but he did do a lot of work behind the scenes. Got rid of all the deadwood changed the mentality in the team and the culture. Cunha and Mbuemo said they were convinced by him to join us and laid the foundations for Carrick to take over. Imagine if Carrick had took over Ten Hag's team he wouldn't have come close to finishing 3rd. If he had just been more flexible and played a back 4 he could've been great for us, shame he was so stubborn and so naive and also playing Bruno as a 6 and benching Mainoo those were my big gripes with him. If Ruud van Nistelrooy had stayed as caretaker manager until the end of the season, people would've been more supportive of him. People also expected us to achieve something when that team was horrible; Grilled Nachos, Onana Bin Laden, Hojcaust, Antony not even prime Pep could get a tune out of that team. So show the guy some fucking respect.

Rubens tenure will not be forgotten by real fans. He had some notable games near the end of his term and we looked promising before sacking him. Say what you want about the win percentages and loss performances but I feel like somebody has to give the man some time to develop a good team or he wont hit his managerial potential.
