Stalker was a really simple film that said some really profound things. Haven’t watched the rest of Tarkovsky’s movies but as far as stalker goes, it’s not pretentious or confusing like people make it out to be. It’s a good example of saying a lot with very little. Take art seriously and take yourself seriously and try your best, that’s what it’s all about.
