@fadhilitheone: Hi Animethon Masquerade Staff, My name is Fadhili, and I’m a Master-Level cosplayer from Eastern Ontario. I’ve been cosplaying for over a decade and competing for 7-8ish years. I’m saying all this to show that I’m coming to you not only as a fellow cosplay enthusiast, but as a person who ACTIVELY participates in the community. So believe me when I say that I did not take making this video lightly. Public-facing incidents should be addressed publicly, I don’t think an email would’ve be adequate given the circumstances. Conversations like these are uncomfortable yet necessary to grow and evolve (pun not intended). They don’t call it ‘growing pains’ for no reason. I gave examples & explanations, and you can also see my emotions come through. Which is not that uncommon for any of my videos: I have a lot of passion!
