My Army buddies that are black would have put their lives on the line for me and I would have done the same for them. I couldn’t imagine living in a time that my buddies couldn’t eat in the same place as me.

My parents shared stories of those days one particular incident where one black soldier fought and survived the war (WII) tired, made it home sat on the forbidden seat on the bus and was shot in the back and killed by the bus driver....survived the war, killed by racism in his own country....a lot of blood on people's hands in this country
