@madamangst: Every Once in a while I will read a book on my kindle or listen to it on Audible and it is so perfect and gorgeous that I have to immediately buy it for my bookshelf. "The Words" was definitely one of those books! This book wrecked me in the most perfect ways possible.. I cried, laughed, threw things in anger, and hugged my kindle at the end of it! I never wanted Phoenix and Lennon's story to end. And that took me completely by surprise because I avoided this book for the longest time because the two main tropes in the book, Rock Star Romance & Second Chance Romance, are not ones that I typically enjoy...but those two things are so surtace level! There is so much more to this book! Trauma recovery, body image, self-love, forgiveness, self-forgiveness, Plus-size representation, ANGST Galore....and so so so much more!
