Ethan was the first to be attacked, in bed at 4:16 a.m. Assailants also went to the other bedrooms at the same time, attacking Maddie at 4:17:04 and covering Kaylee until she was kiIIed between 4:23-:26 a.m. They searched for Xana, who wasn’t home until she arrived on the rear patio at 4:17 and was silenced at 4:17:34 just after yelling “Ethan! Patio!” Just prior to this, (although this could not be captured and saved because frequency is too high) assailants talk about not being able to find Xana and suggest she may have “walked back to The Lodge” where they were “playing cards.” (I had not been aware that The Lodge referred to a specific place when I heard this 9/2025.) Assailants who are talking to Kaylee and each other, likely in Kaylee’s room and visible from the balcony door, are talking about Xana when a female voice (likely Xana) says “You noticed.” It is seconds later that she yells “Ethan! Patio!” probably in an attempt to alert Ethan to the location in which she is being confronted by an assailant with a knife at 4:17:34. She is silenced. About 2 minutes later a car parked in the cove behind 1122 King in the 500 Queen parking lot starts up, illuminating the south facade of the house at 727 Taylor Ave. and peels out, speeding down Queen and exiting the neighborhood at a high rate of speed. This is very likely Bryan Kohberger, who has just witnessed the violent attack on the rear patio from the cove behind the house.
