not all of them are the same. he has three of them. The first one is U, his second born. Dum-E is the one with the dousing him constantly, it's the first robot he ever made, his firstborn son. then there's Butterfingers who is his third. all of them are older than JARVIS

he's always kinda mean to it but I just know he loves that robot so much it was his very first robot if I'm not mistaken quite literally his first child and the one who saved his life in ironman1 he could literally discard or make dum e better but chooses not to and when his Mansion got attacked and destroyed he left everything but took dum-e's and u's remains with him😭
