Toxic leadership will never promote good people into leadership because they know they’ll challenge the very system keeping the broken system functioning . Toxic leadership puts in place folks who won’t make waves and won’t fight back. Weak leadership trying to be an alpha and bully their folks when in reality they are the weakest in that org

Correct, but as a manager you need to hold confidence in speaking to C Level, speak their language and speak up on behalf of their teams. I’ve led teams for 9+ years, learned how important this is and have been apart of change that was needed and met their expectations put numbers behind those changes. I never show up with just the problems, I present them in their language and a profitable solution

Bryan- I would suggest all your followers read 2 books. Crucial Conversations and emotional intelligence. Those 2 combined can, if you really understand them, allow one to know when to speak up, how to speak up, and how to frame the conversation. Very impactful in my career and life in general. I am never afraid to challenge the ELT in the right way. You may not always be listened to, but you always be heard.
