@loveseas2577: Just finished reading The Cloud’s conversation with P’Lingling, and I really enjoyed this one because it gives us a chance to look beyond the actress we know on screen. What stayed with me wasn't simply the success that came after The Secret of Us or how quickly her career changed. It's hearing P’Lingling talk about the parts of the journey that came before that, the moments of doubt, the days when she felt tired or discouraged, and how her perspective has changed as she has grown. At 31, she seems remarkably grounded about where she is. She talks about her work and the people who support her, but she also talks about wanting a life beyond acting, including dreams of becoming a businesswoman and something as simple and important as staying healthy. I especially liked the perspective on fans. For P’Lingling, that support isn't just a number or something attached to fame. It's something that gives her encouragement to keep working and creating. And maybe that's what I appreciated most about this conversation it reminds us that there is a person and an artist behind the roles, the interviews, the red carpets, the numbers, and yes, even the ship.
