it’s amazing how many people don’t understand that even the best quarterback prospect can be ruined by a shitty organization. caleb williams got sacked 56 times in his rookie season. because the bears put a shitty o line in front of him. in addition to that, they gave him an offensive coordinator who do fkn terrible, he had to be fired mid season. on top of all that, his head coach was probably one of the most inept men to ever wear the label of head coach. he too got fired before the season’s end. and people want act like none of that matters. seeing caleb after just 1 year, with a real competent head coach and an offensive line led the league in rushing last season, is the clearest example of how much the situation a quarterback is dropped into matters
