@alleykat_tatz: WHAT’S THAT GIANT MACHINE DOING? 🎗️ That machine I’m spending so much time with is called a LINAC, or linear accelerator. It uses high-energy radiation to target cancer cells and damage their DNA, helping shrink and destroy the tumor. The coolest part? The machine rotates around me, delivering radiation from different angles. That allows the treatment team to give the tumor a high dose while doing their best to protect the healthy tissue around it.
