@xemilybakes: chocolate chip cookies 🍪 (makes 6-8 cookies) ingredients: - 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled - 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar - 1/3 cup (67g) granulated sugar - 1 large egg - tsp vanilla extract - 1 1/4 cups (160g) plain flour - 1/2 tsp baking soda - pinch of salt - milk chocolate chips step by step: - preheat oven to 350F (180C) and line a baking tray. - in a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. set aside. - in a separate bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. - crack in the egg and add in the vanilla extract. - whisk until fully combined. - gradually pour the dry mixture into the wet mixture. - gently fold until just combined. - add in chocolate chips. do not overmix the batter. - scoop out 6-8 cookies (i did 6) onto the prepared baking tray, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie. - bake for approx 14 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges. the middle should still look slightly underbaked, but don’t worry, they will set once they are out of the oven! - if they have spread too much, or combined together, use a cookie cutter or a mug/cup to reshape them. - allow cookies to cool completely (about an hour) before removing, you don’t want them to fall apart.. - enjoy!!<3 #EasyRecipe #simplerecipe #baking #cookies #chocolatechip
