Bro with all due respect, i have said similar things myself. Is it right to say it in that tongue? Hmm probably not the best wording. I believe the meaning comes ina way where it’s majority of people saying, it wasn’t our direct decision or actions that caused these atrocity’s and had it been other countries that did invade the possibility the whole aboriginal culture could have been deleted from history. Now I understand the hurt that particular comment could cause because a lot of people were killed /slaughtered. I guess our side of the fence hasn’t experienced it and hopefully never does, so possibly more compassion and respect around that particular comment should be upheld. As for the likes and particular people I think it has come from the typical stereotype of aboriginal people and yes sadly not all aboriginal people are off tap and for them I can understand the hurt from what you have seen in the regard to likes. Please don’t take that as me thinking whites are perfect either there’s a lot of SC whites out there but the stereotype is different.. I’ve worked NTH, West and east with many aboriginal men and women, I worked in the star mountains of PNG and I can honestly say that I have friends for life that I hold in the highest of regard as good humans and I genuinely love them. Shit I’m going on but, I think whites are over hearing poor me, it’s happened we weren’t the people that did this they are all gone now and thank fuck they are! I don’t think it’s so much saying shut the fuck up and deal with it. It’s time to move on. We can’t change the past we agree but let’s move forward. I think a lot of work needs to be done on both cultures. Now I’m not a racist. I hate all shit cunts whether they’re black, white, yellow, pink or green. Hope I haven’t crossed the line in anyway or offended anyone. My apologies if I have, but I’m just trying to share a different side of the scenario in some way

As a white Australian, what you say is at the core of it, I remember as a kid being told those exact words. Thankfully I was able to educate myself when I was a bit more grown - that sent me on a massive, very inward journey that made me reflect on a lot. Thank goodness I did, I would have been one of ‘dear white women’ TikTok’s would have been about whiles thinking I an ally - gross on my part.
