as an intern nurse, I nursed an 8th day old baby with this diagnosis and distended stomach. he was on parenteral feeding till the issue was managed and we manually helped release the bowels, within 48hr the distended stomach subsided and he commenced breastfeeding... thanks ma'm for this...
