this is a perfect example of the extreme inequality within the American public education system. meanwhile, some inner city or rural child is learning in 50yr old desks, in a crumbling building, with decades old textbooks.

meanwhile we had to look into funding to get new mechanical pencil sharpeners.. in 2024, 20% of our student body was homeless, this year more than half the student families come in on friday to get food from our food bank we get from the city..
