@styledbysurvival: I thought I had a mother-in-law problem. Looking back, I had a husband who was willing to make his pregnant and postpartum wife uncomfortable to keep his mother comfortable. When you’re in an emotionally abusive relationship, triangulation can be so subtle that you don’t even realize what’s happening while you’re living it. Pregnancy and postpartum just made the pattern impossible to ignore. #CovertAbuse #EmotionalAbuse #Triangulation #MotherInLaw #Postpartum
Currently going through this with a 2 month old, she made my birth and PP experience hell

When they said they didn’t mean it that way it means that is exactly what they wanted to say

That’s the root of the problem. Your ex had a wife before he was married to you. Narcissistic

A month after a miscarriage my FIL told me he wanted to be a grandpa so bad (he told just me this). My husband says he doesn’t know any better. ?!?! He’s 70. It’s time he learns.

Yes, this was one of the main reasons my ex and I broke up. His step mom always came first

Im so grateful I’ve gone the past 26 weeks of my second pregnancy without any of them knowing we’re pregnant. We/ or my baby and I hadn’t been around my mil for about a year and when we seen her the first thing she did was cross the no kissing boundary, which was partially why we originally stopped contact with her to begin with. I tried to have the conversation about it and she chose silence. So we’ve kept it that way, and it has been pure peace! Wouldn’t have it any other way🥰🤍

My mother in law always did this. It’s disgusting clearly she was jealous of you. She wanted her son 😂

This was my ex & his mother too. Such men deserve to be single bc no woman agrees to be his 2nd wife since his mom is 1st.

My dads mom would be the opposite. “You’re too skinny during this pregnancy you don’t eat enough.” They always have something to say. 😂😂
