Hi. I have seen a ton of bird videos here lately. I know you say only scratch on head or neck as to not send confusing messages to your bird. Can you clarify? I get anxious for birds who are petted below the head. Hope this isn’t a weird question.

My adopted Congo grey was the worst plucker I had ever seen. (See picture.) He's gotten a lot of feathers back, but still plucks his chest. He's such a sweet boy!
