Utilities going out always makes me scared and spooked. Not because the game is harder, boiling water and setting up a generator is pretty easy, but because once those are down, you know it's over. While the power and water are still up, there is the implication that someone is maintaining them, there is still some amount of order in Knox, once they go down, you know you're actually alone and humanity is gone.

funny story me and my buddy heard that sound for the first time together. Keep in mind I had played the game for at least 165 hours at this point. but I was never that committed to a save and we heard this and we were frightened cuz we thought it was a bomb.

im actually so mad that I can't play this game anymore. My laptop could run the game pretty well with it obviously having some lag spikes and especially whilse big hordes where around but now my laptop can't run crap.
