This is so sad, to this day we have issues with refs not stopping fights earlier. I’m going based off memory but Prichard got hit in the back of the head MULTIPE times throughout the fight and some were full force & on purpose. Ref only separated them but let it continue, the other boxer should’ve been disqualified and never fight again he did all of it on purpose. But what boxing promoters don’t understand is they would get more views and more $$$ out of fighters if they protect their longevity. And fighters need to make a stand, leave the fight if opponent is purposely hitting the back of the head and officials just let it happen, but this would screw up that solo fighter which is why all fighters need to do it. But that’s wishful thinking, rest in peace colon. When I first found him out I was in MS never boxed in my life. I’m now a amateur and I just find it so devastating how officials & the other guys coaches let this happen
