@erikaprints: I finally ran my new 3D printing recycling line for the first time and it went way smoother than I expected. This was a test run using industrial recycled plastic pellets so I could learn the new filament extruder without adding failed print shreds into the mix yet. Watching the old white material clear out and my black filament start coming through was very satisfying. Now I just need to get the arraying feature on the winder figured out so I can make nice evenly wound spools, then it is time to start recycling failed 3D prints. ~~ 3D printing creates a lot of plastic waste from failed prints, supports, purge material, leftover filament and prints you just do not need anymore. I collect 3D printing waste and recycle it into new 3D printer filament instead of sending that plastic to the landfill. You can send me eligible filament waste to recycle and earn coupons toward recycled filament based on the weight you send in. The more eligible material you send, the more credit you can earn toward recycled filament. Check the link in my bio for the current instructions, what materials I can accept, how to prepare and send your failed prints and how the recycling coupons work. If you have a question, please leave it in the comments. Comments are by far the best way to reach me because I almost never check my DMs. #3DPrinting #3dprint #3DPrinted #RecycledFilament #3DRecycle
