Good theory. My theory is all animals used to "know" man is made in the image of God and used to treat man as the steward he is supposed to be. We can see this in how almost all animals on earth respond to being petted, for example. Orcas could be stricter than other predators in their no-attack behavior due to their intelligence.

hold up there not called killer whales because we killed them they used to be called whale killers cause they would help us find the bigger whales for ust to hunt the right whales were the ones we would go after thats how they got there name cause they were the right whales to kill the whale killer name just got switched over time its one of the reasons thats why humpback whales and orcas have beef im pretty sure we never hunted them to extinction like the bigger ones thats why there are so many different kinds of orcas and only few of all the rest
