@cortechnology: HOW TO BUILD A PI-NAS — Part 1: Making a Raspberry Pi Worth It in 2026 A Raspberry Pi can still be useful in 2026 if you use it for something practical. For Part 1 of this 3-in-1 project, I’m turning a Raspberry Pi 5 into a NAS (Network Attached Storage) using an NVMe SSD. A NAS lets you store files on a device connected to your network and access them from other computers and devices. Instead of keeping everything on one PC, the Pi can act as a small centralized file server. The setup also gives you hands-on experience with Linux, SSD storage, networking, mounting drives, file permissions and Samba for sharing files across a network. It’s a relatively simple project, but it demonstrates several concepts that are useful for learning about servers and networking. This is Part 1 of the 3-in-1 Raspberry Pi build. More projects are coming in Parts 2 and 3. #raspberrypi #raspberrypiprojects #nas #viral #fyp
