@threadofeverything: Part three. Genesis 3 does something strange that almost nobody stops on. In verse seven Adam and Eve sew fig leaves together and make themselves coverings. In verse ten Adam tells God he hid because he was naked. He is dressed when he says it. So whatever he lost that day, clothes do not replace it. The old Jewish and Christian teachers had an answer for that gap, and it is one of the most beautiful things anybody has ever said about being human. Rabbi Meir's Torah scroll is reported to have read that God originally made them garments of light, and Ephrem the Syrian built an entire theology on the robe of glory that Adam wore and lost. And Psalm 104 says God himself is wrapped in light as with a garment. Then on a mountain, centuries later, a man's clothes turn back into light in front of three terrified friends. My brother, In Genesis 1:27_28: GOD made Adam's suitable mate already in him in the beginning. Genesis 2:19_20:GOD brought all the animals to Adam, to choose a suitable helper/companion. Why? Did GOD forgot about Eve already made within Adam to be his companion? why animal companion? because a companion was meant for reproduction? May you shed light on this?

yep, I agree. ❤️because they knew "evil", (meaning 'without Gods presence'). They felt what it was to be without His covering and it scared them. they were "naked", without Gods covering/no longer hiding them from the darkness.

Genesis 3:21 KJB “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them”. Adam and Eve didn’t cloth themselves, God clothed them. A picture of Jesus and His righteousness covering us. Not our righteousness.

I gave my life to God one night and by the next morning I met Jesus standing inside me. He covered about 98% of my body inside me. He revealed himself to me in a way I’m still getting revelations from after over 30 yrs. I since saw Jesus in my wife’s eyes in another revelation. So I get the sense of what your saying. Someday we will come together as one person in Christ as scripture says he will come to be glorified and marveled at in them that believe.
