What do you think being a witch means? To me, being a witch is both a choice and something I feel in my bloodline. It is a spiritual belief system, a path, and a way of living your life. It shapes how I move through the world, how I honor the sacred, and how I take responsibility for my own growth. Sometimes what I see online makes me sad. I love that being a witch has become more accepted. For those of us who have faced rejection for openly walking this path, that acceptance means something profound . But alongside it, I see the craft becoming a trend. I see people claiming the word because they love a movie or an aesthetic, while showing little interest in the spiritual practice behind it. And I struggle with seeing Christianity folded into a path that, for me, meant reclaiming myself after leaving that religion. I’m not Wiccan. I’m a solitary witch, and sometimes I wish there were a clearer way to communicate the depth of that commitment. This is sacred to me. Some of what I see feels like something deeply meaningful is being turned into a costume, a funny makeup video, something just identified as because it’s popular now, and honestly, it can feel offensive. There is room to be curious, to begin, and to learn. Every one of us has a beginning. What matters to me is the willingness to approach the craft with sincerity, respect, and a desire to understand what you are claiming. So I’m asking sincerel… what does being a witch mean to you? How does it live in your everyday life, beyond the word itself? 🖤 #witchesoftiktok #witchcraft #witches #coven #occult
